Department of Entomology - Special Seminar
Speaker: Dr. Yves LE CONTE, Head of Honeybee Biology and Protection Laboratory, Avignon, France.
Title: "Characterization of a brood pheromone in the Honeybee"
Date: Wednesday, July 3rd, 2002
Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Place: 244 Natural Science Building (North end of Farmlane)
Michigan State University
Refreshments will be served 15 min prior to the seminar.
I am pleased to announce that Dr. Le Conte will be visiting my Lab July 2 to 5. He is a pioneer in honey bee brood pheromone and has published in prestigious journals such as Science and Nature. He also has two patents on the use of brood pheromone. Please come to the seminar if possible. Please email me if you are interested to meet with him during his stay here.
