Results

The graphs represent the JH Titers (ng/ml) for each bee sample. Levels of JH were compared to the baseline of 0 hours for each time interval. The data for bee samples from experiment 2 (iced nurses) and all of experiment 3 were not available due to oil

Experiment 1 – Foragers

• 24 hour is different for iced bees; 4 ,8, & 24 hour are different for caged

Experiment 2 – Foragers

• No change for iced; 4 & 8 hour are different from baseline for caged

Experiment 2 – Nurses

• 4 & 8 hour are different for iced bees (24 hour data missing); 4, 8, & 24 hour are different for caged bees
